Dennis R. Autry has been an integral part in the lives of so many. As coach he strived to teach values on and off the court of hard work dedication, sportsmanship, respect and fairness. Being educated in the Philadelphia Public School system he understood the value of education, as well as the power and responsibility associated with it. He expressed the unquestionably in his prosperous and joyful life. The father in him drove him to be an exemplary man of the community, as a leader and mentoring young men and women, preparing them, teaching them the skills and providing a moral compass to help them navigate through the trials and tribulations of life on and off the court.
Testimony
I Remember when last year today GOD took a great man from this life to the next. December 1, 2016, was a sad day for me and the Autry family. I might not be blood or even an Autry but you or anyone else can’t tell me I wasn't his son. “I DONT CARE” what no one says about me not being Dennis Autry’s oldest son. He didn’t have to take me into his family and show me the way of life and on becoming the MAN that I am today and to show me how to become a better person and a better father to my son Keanu. I’m truly grateful to Dennis and the Autry family for everything and every piece of LOVE they have shown me and my son. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. LOVE YOU ALL DEEPLY. Today, is not a sad day but It is a day to in brace a joyful celebration that GOD is awesome and as a great man by his side. Love you so much pop.
